I am Asala from Gaza, a mother of two young girls. My second daughter was born during the war, at a time when life was being taken away from us little by little… Amidst the bombing and destruction, she came into this world without a bed, milk, or even diapers to protect her tiny body from pain.
My house was completely destroyed, and all I have is my arms to hold my two daughters. There is no shelter, no adequate food, no baby supplies. I appeal to those with compassionate hearts and living consciences… Please help me for my children, just so I can provide them with the most basic rights in life: warmth, food, and safety.
Any donation, however small, can make a huge difference in my daughters’ lives. May God have mercy on those who relieve our distress and support us in these difficult circumstances.
